This is one of the 3D models I made.
It is not finished yet, but I would like to share it with you…
This is a Polygon 3D Model for In Game Usage purposes, Low poly (Low Resolution 3D Model)
The budget will be about 2.000-3.000 tris.
When I finish it, I will post it to the Downloads Section.

I think it is time to post the answer/Solution of my mathematical riddle.
The only correct answer/comment until now, was that from harry…
But…The Challenge is not over yet…
You have some more time because…
…right now i am building my New Site and the answer of the riddle will be anounced there for start-Opening.
The site is Under Construction…(that’s why you have some more time available for the riddle …hehe)
and the URL/Name (it is a surprise) will be anounced when it will be ready for the public. :-)
The solution of the Riddle is an interesting article-like (big) page…i made for you…with a dedicated analytical step by step full explanation!!! :-)
I hope you like it…:-)

Astronomers Find First Earth-like Planet in Habitable Zone
The Dwarf Carried Other Worlds Too!
Astronomers have discovered the most Earth-like planet outside our Solar System to date, an exoplanet with a radius only 50% larger than the Earth and capable of having liquid water. Using the ESO 3.6-m telescope, a team of Swiss, French and Portuguese scientists discovered a super-Earth about 5 times the mass of the Earth that orbits a red dwarf, already known to harbour a Neptune-mass planet. The astronomers have also strong evidence for the presence of a third planet with a mass about 8 Earth masses.

The Planetary System Around Gliese 581
This exoplanet - as astronomers call planets around a star other than the Sun - is the smallest ever found up to now [1] and it completes a full orbit in 13 days. It is 14 times closer to its star than the Earth is from the Sun. However, given that its host star, the red dwarf Gliese 581 [2], is smaller and colder than the Sun - and thus less luminous - the planet nevertheless lies in the habitable zone, the region around a star where water could be liquid! The planet’s name is Gliese 581 c.

Today in the morning at work…(in coffee-brake) as i was reading my newspaper and drinking some “Frape Cofee” (Cold Coffe with Ice), sudednly…I Saw it…!!!!!!
It was an interresting article in a newspapers magazine….
A dream at last came true…:-)
It was about a new vechicle. With this Vechicle, you can drive in the streets and you can also ….fly in the air….:-)
I am very exited with this….!!! In the article I readed that maybe in four-five years it will be a commercial model.

Do you wanna fly babe…????”
Enjoy it….:-)

Since Henry Ford built the Model T Ford, people have been dreaming of a vehicle that could drive AND fly. It took almost 90 years before this dream could be realized. Now it will: PAL-V Europe BV is building everybody’s dream in mobility: a full-fledged flying and full-fledged driving vehicle. Your first questions will probably be: How does it work and why is this suddenly possible now?
PAL-V Europe BV started in 1999 to study many technologies and evaluated various concepts. It made numerous designs and patented all its findings, leading to the PAL-V ONE. The first Personal Air and Land Vehicle (PAL-V) available for anybody.
PAL-V Europe BV combines the recent “tilting car” technology of the Carver with the safest and easiest principle of flying, the gyrocopter. It has the exclusive rights to all the basic patents covering this magnificent concept. In addition, PAL-V Europe BV has patents pending for amongst others a foldable rotor.
After 6 years of concept work, PAL-V Europe BV has now entered the next phase. It is starting to build the first commercial prototype to prove all technologies, to finetune the design, to start-up production and carry out the market launch of the PAL-V ONE.
Since 2004/2005 new European and American regulations allow people to fly the PAL-V with a simple sports aviation license. It takes between 15-25 hours getting a license for flying while driving can be done with a regular car driving license.
PAL-V Europe BV is currently raising the capital necessary for the realization phase.
PAL-V Europe BV is also looking for potential customers that would like to be among the earlier customers. Please let us know in case you would like to purchase one or more of the first series.

Last days I was thinking about online multiplayer games like the World of Warcraft (WoW), Lineage … etc…! Then I was thinking about Sylphis3D and Quark (Quake Army Knife) Map Editor and one idea came into my mind…just an idea…!!!! What if there was a ”Massive Online Map Editting Network” (M.o.m.e.nt.)?
I don’t know if something like that existed in the past in other projects, but I think it sounds funny and entertainment. I know that creating something like that, contains many issues and technical problems to solve but….just imagine….
…We all could have our “M.O.M.E.NT.” …. for fun, creativity, art, …etc….., couldn’t we??? hehe…:-)
….a “MOMENT” for everyone of us who find map creations interesting… imagine our “MOMENT”….evolving and becaming to a place where we can build our Huge Big Map, part by part from everyone of us, or even turn it to a live game and play/exist in it….and many many more funny and interesting stuff like that…:-)
Is all that only in my imagination? Or we could have our “Sylphis 3D M.O.M.E.NT.” for true/for real??? ![]()
Think about it…!!!!

Get Inside Your Picture - What if you could transform 2D into 3D?
Carnegie Mellon Researchers Teach Computers To Perceive Three Dimensions in 2-D Images.
Program Automatically Generates 3-D Models From a Single Photograph

Above is a composite image of Carnegie Mellon’s University Center, showing a photograph (top left) and three 3-D reconstructions derived from it.
PITTSBURGH—We live in a three-dimensional world but, for the most part, we see it in two dimensions. Discerning how objects and surfaces are juxtaposed in an image is second nature for people, but it’s something that has long flummoxed computer vision systems.
Now, however, researchers in Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science have found a way to help computers understand the geometric context of outdoor scenes and thus better comprehend what they see. The discovery promises to revive an area of computer vision research all but abandoned two decades ago because it seemed insoluble. It may ultimately find application in vision systems used to guide robotic vehicles, monitor security cameras and archive photos.
Using machine learning techniques, Robotics Institute researchers Alexei Efros and Martial Hebert, along with graduate student Derek Hoiem, have taught computers how to spot the visual cues that differentiate between vertical surfaces and horizontal surfaces in photographs of outdoor scenes. They’ve even developed a program that allows the computer to automatically… Read the rest of this entry »

An excellent programmer…an excellent 3D Engine…Many years of hard work…!!!!
Yeap…this is Harry and Sylphis 3D Engine. ![]()
The wait is over!
My thoughts goes back to time…and happy memories from the past come to my mind:
——————————————————————————
Coffe time in cafeteria !!!Me and Harry talking for hours about sylphis…, dreaming and thinking any possible new features Sylphis 3D Engine could have and any already new features sylphis had.
While Harry was ”burning his eyes” on his monitor programming…and …programming…and programming….,
I was “burning my eyes” in my monitor, creating maps, testing the compiler (my pc was on fire, hehe… compiling every day “testing-maps” millions of times…again and again…doing little changes and compilling again), testing and correcting, doing crazy stunts with the player and various 3d objects to test engine’s physics, Creating H.U.D. Graphics, bug detecting/reporting, creating possible Game Scenarios…talking and talking with Harry many times in our spare time about Sylphis new possibilities, crazy ideas about what features would be interesting for implementation ….etc…!!!
well…
Around 45000 lines of source code written in C++ and Python are waiting for you…
I know Harry is very happy now…!!!
Sylphis 3D (his “mental child”) is officially released under the GNU GPL ver.2
I am very Happy too…:-)
The wait is over!
Don’t be late…check it out…:-)
